There was such a special feeling.” The accomplished watercolorist and world traveler had driven north from California looking for a new place to set up her easel. She wanted a town high on scenic stimuli and low on people, but one with a sense of community and love of the arts. She found it 60 miles south of the Canadian border in Sandpoint, Idaho.
